He married Bessie Dean Harlan March 4, 1946 at Tishomingo. Mr. Scott had been an insurance adjustor with General Adjustment Bureau from 1948 – 1957. In 1970, he moved his plant, Scott Manufacturing Company to Ada and manufactured church furniture.

He was a longtime member of Southwest Church of Christ and he helped form the Haitian Orphanage Ministry at Southwest Church of Christ. S. Navy from December, 1943 to July, 1944 and the U. Homer E. Scott, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 90. Homer was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffery Corbett.

Homer proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Korean War Vet Organization and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Homer worked for Sears where he retired from after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was camping or fishing.
Our sympathy to all the Lewis family and friends. Homer was a dedicated servant to his family, his employer, and his Church. One of his favorites was her delicious spaghetti sauce. He enjoyed going to the health studio, flowers, sweets, and watching Korean dramas with Judy and their (KDC-Korean drama club) friends.
Homer served as an ordinance worker at the Jordan River and Draper temples for many years. He taught us the importance of work by helping us with our paper route for close to 15 years. He also served two church service missions with Judy.
